iRacing Short Course is announcing that the Regional Series will not be returning for the 2025 season. This decision follows a comprehensive review of the series’ sustainability, long-term value, and alignment with the overall goals of the organization.

Several key factors contributed to this outcome, including rising operational costs, a lower-than-expected transition rate of drivers into the National Series, and the significant support required to operate the Regionals effectively.

With the National Series now running year-round—including through the fall months when the Regionals traditionally took place—all available resources, funding, and staffing will be focused entirely on continuing the growth of the National Series.

The future of the Regional Series will be re-evaluated in early 2026, with updates to follow as they become available.
